How ClaraVita Works
Most cleaning products contain chemical detergents or toxic chemicals that kill all bacteria, whether harmful or healthy. ClaraVita utilizes beneficial microorganisms and microbes to clean surfaces without destroying the healthy beneficial bacteria that provide nutrients and support the immune system.
How It Works:
1. Apply ClaraVita to desired surface (countertop, carpet, fabric). Leave wet for one minute and let the microbes do the work! Note: for a deeper clean, leave on for up to 5 minutes.
2. Wipe surface thoroughly and watch as dirt, residue, grease, and grime is lifted from the surface, leaving the good bacteria intact.
3. Good bacteria repopulate the contaminated areas, leaving your home healthier and cleaner than it was before!
Dirt is composed of layers of fine film that is made up of grease, oils, fats, bacteria, germs, dust, and both non-organic and organic materials.
These layers are bonded to each other and to surfaces through amino and fatty acids. ClaraVita works by using microbes to clean and prevent bacteria from growing back for more than 24 hours, keeping your environment truly clean and sparkling longer than traditional chemical cleaners and disinfectants.

The Facts:
1. Less than .01% of germs are pathogens. By poisoning the air and indiscriminately wiping out good germs, we are contributing to rising negative effects on growth, brain development, intelligence, and coordination. (Living with the Enemy, New Scientist 4-8-17).
2. A majority of germs are directly or indirectly essential to our well-being and survival. (Germ Warfare, New Scientist 1-14-17).
3. Studies show that women exposed to Tetrachloroethylene (PERC) have an increased risk for breast cancer. Short-term exposure can cause skin irritation, dizziness, and headaches. This chemical is banned in Europe, but not in the US.
4. Limonene, which is used in cleaning products to create a lemon smell, produces formaldehyde, a chemical that has been listed as a known human carcinogen since 2011. (The Telegraph, 1-24-17).
5. The Environmental Working Group scoured 2,000 products and discovered that 53% contain lung-harming ingredients.
6. Many cleaning products contain preservatives. Companies have been searching for a natural, safe, and effective preservative, but to date none have been found. One of these preservatives, Methylisothiazolinone, is linked to allergies, asthma, dermatitis, and brain cell damage in rats. (Medical Professional, 2015).
7. In 2016, 55 U.S. Poison Control Centers provided guidance to 2,000,000 cases of human poison exposure. Half of the cases involved children under the age of 6. Chemical cleaners was the most frequent cause.
8. Unintentional poisoning is the leading cause of injury and death in the US, and in 2016 surpassed the fatalities caused by motor vehicle accidents.
